We all know that the Delhi Government under the supervision of Chief Minister Shri Arvind Kejriwal has announced to provide the financial assistance to all the Auto/Taxi driver. A fixed amount of Rs 5000 will be deposited directly to the account of Auto/Taxi Driver so that they can fulfill their basic needs in this tough time. 

Due to Covid-19, all the sectors whether its Private or public shuts down due to complete lockdown. This pandemic affects those sections of people more who are depending on daily wages or earnings. Auto/Taxi drivers are one of them and depends on their daily wages.

To make their living easy to some extent, the Delhi Government has announced this scheme for the Auto/Taxi Drivers and designed a online portal i.e Beneficiary can visit this portal and apply online for the financial assistance of Rs 5000. :- Transport Department – Government of NCT of Delhi 

The Whole country is facing this tough situation due to the Covid-19 Pandemic. People have suffered a lot due to this pandemic. Many people have lost their jobs. There are lots of people who has made savings for future but have also been spent in this pandemic. But a particular section of people who affected most due to this pandemic are those who depends on daily earnings like, Ricksaw Driver, Vegetable Seller, Auto/Taxi Driver etc. To facilitate them to some extent, the Government of NCT of Delhi has announced a financial assistance of Rs 5000 for Delhi Auto/Taxi Drivers.

Key Points need to be remember while applying for Scheme :-

  • This is a one time financial help so one can avail this Rs 5000 financial assistance only one time.
  • Financial amount will directly be deposited to beneficiary bank account.
  • Beneficiary Bank Account must be linked to the aadhaar card of the applicant.
  • Only those applicants whose Aadhaar linked with bank accounts, will be given financial help of Rs 5000.
  • Those who have taken the advantage of this scheme previous year can not apply this time. Only Fresh applicants or left out applicants can apply online for financial assistance.

Beneficiary Categories :-

Beneficiary applicant further divided in to two Categories :-
  • PSV Batch Holders
  • Permit Holder or Para-Transit Vehicles/E-Ricksaw

Documents Required for PSV Badge Holder :-
  • Applicant Driving License Number
  • Applicant PSV Badge Number
  • Applicant Valid Mobile Number
  • Applicant Birth Date
  • Applicant Gender
  • Applicant Aadhaar Details
  • Applicant Bank Account Details
  • Blank Cheque Photo 
  • Aadhaar Card Photo

Documents Required for Permit Holders or Para-Transit Vehicles/E-Ricksaw :-
  • Vehicle Registration Number
  • Permit Number (Not required for E-Ricksaw)
  • Applicant Valid Mobile Number
  • Applicant Date of Birth
  • Applicant Gender
  • Applicant Aadhaar Details
  • Applicant Bank Account Details
  • Blank Cheque Copy
  • Copy of Aadhaar Card

Online Apply for Financial assistance of Rs 5000 :-

If you are a beneficiary one and want to apply for Rs 5000 as financial assistance, follow the below simple steps:-
  • Visit the official website i.e
  • You will see two options on the home page:-

                      1) Click here for PSV Badge Holder

                      2) Click here for Permit Holder of Para-Transit Vehicles/E-Ricksaw
  • Choose the one option.
  • Lets choose the second one i.e “Click here for Permit Holder of Para-Transit Vehicles/E-Ricksaw”.
  • On the next page, you will be asked to enter the Aadhaar Card Number.
  • Once entered, click on Submit button.
  • Now you will be asked to select the Vehicle Class (Auto Ricksaw, E-Ricksaw, Taxi, Phat Phat Sewa)
  • Enter the Vehicle Registration Number.
  • Enter the Vehicle Permit Number (Not Required for E-Ricksaw).
  • Once done with the above steps, click on Submit button.
  • Your Application process has been completed now.

Application Status Check :- Payment Status Check

Applicants can also track their application status online via this portal. Just follow the below simple steps to check the application status:-
  • Visit the Official website i.e
  • Click on Application Status option.
  • You will be directed to the new web page.
  • Enter Your Aadhaar Number.
  • Fill the Captcha Code.
  • Click on Proceed button.
