The State Government of Bihar is going to introduce a new scheme for the unemployed youth and women of Bihar State. The Scheme has been named as ” Mukhyamantri Mahila Udyami Yojana or Mukhyamantri Yuva Udyami Yojana. The State Government of Bihar will provide a loan of up to Rs 10 lakh for new start up. The Online Portal for Mukhyamantri Mahila or Yuva Udyami Yojana is in progress and very soon it will be live and beneficiary will be able to apply online for these scheme.
Apart from this, two schemes that were already in run i.e Mukhyamantri SC/ST Udyami Yojana, the Government of Bihar is going to do some amendments in these schemes to promote the Self-Employment or entrepreneurship in Bihar state. These scheme has been launched to promote the “Atmanirbhar Bharat” project.
Mukhyamantri Mahila/Yuva Udyami Yojana 2021 :-
The State Government of Bihar is going to give a trenmendous opp.ortunity to all the unemployed youth and women of Bihar State to start their small business. For the Start-up, the Bihar Government will assist and provide financial assistant or loan of up to Rs 10 lakh. To run the Mukhyamantri Mahila/Yuva Udyami Yojana more smoothly, the Government has sanctioned a amount of Rs 200 crore for each schemes i.e total of rs 400 crore.
Benefits of Mukhyamantri Mahila/Yuva Udyami Yojana 2021:-
- Beneficiary will get a government assistance of Rs 10 lakh under these schemes.
- Rate of Interest is very low.
- 50% of the total project cost will be given by Bihar State Government for Mukhyamantri Mahila Udyami Yojana with no rate of interest on loan amout.
- 50% of the total project cost will be given by State Government with rate of interest as 1% on the loan amount.
- Mukhyamantri Mahila Udyami Yojana or Mukhyamantri Yuva Udyami Yojana promotes the Atmanirbhar Yojana.
- These schemes helps in raising the employment level in Bihar State.
- As apart of this scheme, a government assistant of Rs 10 lakh will be given to applicants.
- The State Government has set a target to make approx 2500 Women entrepreneurship every year.
- One will get a long period of time i.e 84 months to return the loan amount.
- Those women whose application will get selected for Udyami Yojana will get a proper training for 15 days.
