- Visit the Official website of Tamil Nadu Birth and Death Registration – crstn.org.
- “Forms” option is available on the main page of the website.
- Choose the Birth Types under the Forms Section like Birth Reporting, Adopted Birth Reporting, Still Birth Reporting.
- Click on one of the three Birth Type option.
- As soon as you click on any one option, a New registration form will open on your screen.
- Download the Birth Registration Form and take a print out of it.
- Now fill all the details asked in the registration form.
- Attach the relevant documents.
- Submit the Form to the nearest local Hospital.
- You will be given a RCH Id.
- You have successfully applied for Birth Certificate.

If you want to download the Birth Certificate Online, you can do the same via crstn.org web portal, you just need to follow the below simple steps:-
- Visit the official website of Tamil Nadu Birth and Death Registration – crstn.org
- On the homepage, you will see the option of “Certificate Download”.
- Choose the “Birth” option under the Certificate Download Section and Click on that.
- You will be redirected to below web page.
- Enter either RCHID or Details like Gender, District, Birth Place (either Hospital or Home), Date of Birth.
- You will now be asked to enter the Mobile Number.
- Click on Send OTP option.
- Authenticate the One Time Password sent to your registered Mobile Number.
- Fill the Captcha Code.
- Click on View option.
- You will have your Birth Certificate on your screen now.

CRSTN.ORG – Apply Online for TN Death Certificate @crstn.org:-
- Visit the Official website of Tamil Nadu Birth and Death Registration – crstn.org.
- Click on “Death Reporting” option under the Forms section.
- A Death Registration Form will open in front of you.
- Download the form and take a print out of it.
- Fill all the mandatory details asked.
- Attach the relevant documents asked in the registration form.
- Submit the death registration form to the near local hospital.
- Your Application process for Death Certificate has completed successfully.

- Visit the Official website of Tamil Nadu Death and Birth Certificate – crstn.org.
- Click on “Death” option under the Certificate Download Section.
- Select the Gender.
- Now, select the District from the drop down.
- Choose the Place of Death between the Hospital and Home.
- If the Place of Death is Hospital, Select the Hospital from the drop down.
- Now enter your Date of Death.
- Enter the Valid Mobile Number
- Click on Send OTP button.
- Verify the One Time Password.
- Fill the Captcha Code.
- Click on View option.
- You will have the Death Certificate on your screen now.
- Click on Print Certificate option to download the TN Death Certificate.
RCHID – How to Apply for RCHID?
RCHID stands for Reproductive and Child Heath Id. This will be issued to all the married women between the age group of 15-49 years. One can use this RCHID during the Pregnancy Period.
There is no such Online Process to apply for the RCHID. One have to visit the nearest Village Heath Nurse or Urban Health Nurse Center to apply for RCHID. The Maximum period for RCHID Issue is One Month.
CRSTN.ORG – PICME Pre-Registration Form :-
Pregnant Women of Tamil Nadu State can fill the Pre-Registration form on the official website of PICME – Pregnancy and Infant Cohort Monitoring and Evaluation.
- Visit the Official website of crstn.org
- You will see the Pre-Registration – PICME option on the home page of the website.
- Click on Pre-Registration Link option.
- You will be redirected to the PICME Website i.e https://picme.tn.gov.in/picme_public/
- A Pre-Registration form will open in front of you now
- Enter all the detail asked in the Pre-Registration Form.
- Click on Save option.
- Acknowledgement Slip will displayed on your Screen having the Pre Registration Id.
