How to Transfer the Vehicle Ownership via RTA Citizen App?
You must provide a biometric identification to transfer the ownership of motor vehicle from one party to another. For biometric identification, the vehicle should be entered or registered on this portal by clicking on registration form option and by submitting the relevant documents like Motor Vehicle RC, Aadhaar Card, Motor Vehicle Registration Number etc. One have to pay a small amount for registration on RTA Citizen App. As soon as you pay the amount, your application request will be completed.
Apply for Driving License or Learning License:-
If you want to apply for Driving License or Learning License, follow the below steps:-
- Visit the official website.
- In the License Section of the homepage, Click on “Driving License” or Learner License” option.
- On the next page, you have to choose the transactions type.
- As soon as you choose the option i.e Fresh Driving License, you will be redirected to a page having some guidelines and instructions.
- Click on the option of “Click here to apply for Driving License”
- On the next page, you will be asked to enter the “Learner License Number” and asked to select the Nationality.
- Click on Search button.
- You will be now asked to authenticate your Aadhaar Details.
- Enter the information.
- Enter the Captcha Code.
- Choose the Motor Driving Test date.
- Click on Submit button.
- You have successfully applied for Driving License.
How to apply for License Renewal?
You can also apply for License Renewal too under this portal. Follow the below steps:-
- Visit the official website of RTA Citizen App.
- Choose the Driving License option License section.
- On the next page select the transactions type.
- Choose the “Renewal Of License” option under transactions type.
- Enter the Driving License Number and Aadhaar Number.
- On the next page, you have to click on Renewal option.
- You have to go for biometric Identification too while renewal process.
- Pay the charge for renewal.
- Once the payment done, a receipt will come on the screen.
- Your application request for renewal license has completed now.
How to Track the status of Driving License?
If you have applied for Driving License, you can track the application status via this portal.
- Visit the website.
- Choose the Driving License option under Status Section.
- You can track the status either by application number or without application number.
- Enter the details asked.
- Click on Search button.
- You have your application status on your screen.
How to apply for NOC, Transfer of Ownership and RC Cancellation?
If you want to apply for No Objection Certificate or Transfer the Ownership of Vehicle or want to cancel the Certificate of Registration, you can do these via RTA Citizen App.
- Visit the website.
- Choose the “Registration Services”option under the “Registration” section.
- Choose the “Registration Services Type”.
- Once done, click on next button.
- Enter the details asked.
- Click on submit button.
