The Punjab Government has launched a portal called “Punjab E Labor Portal” to provide services to the labor categories. Earlier,one had to visit the concerned department or office in order to make labor card, but now as a part of this Portal, one can apply for Labor Card online from their home.
One can avail the various State government services too under this portal by register themselves on this Portal. Apart from the Labor Card, the state Government will look in to the health facility of labor also as part of this portal. One can avail the benefit amount direct in their bank account. This makes the whole process transparent and no one will face any problem.

Key Features of Punjab E Labor Portal:-
- Under this Portal, one can register themselves to get the labor Card. There is no need to visit the Government offices for these works.
- This Portal saves the time as well as the wealth of the labor.
- One can avail the benefits of various Government services and schemes under this Portal.
- Health Services or facilities also provided to the Labor.
- Shagun Scheme:- Registered Labor or worker will get a Shagun amount of Rs 31,000/- for the marriage of his two daughters.
- Stipend Yojana:- Registered Worker will get a stipend amount of Rs 3,000 to Rs 70,000/- for the academic expenses of their children.
- Funeral Help Scheme:- If there is any death in the family of the registered Worker, he will get Rs 20,000/- as the financial assistance fund for funeral expenses.
- Cycle Scheme – The state Government will provide a free cycle to a student (9th to 12th Standard).
- Only Unorganized Sector people can avail the benefits under this Portal.
- Age must be 18 to 40 Years.
- Monthly Income should not be more than Rs 15,000.
- Visit the official website of Punjab E labor Portal.
- On the homepage, click on Login option.
- Click on “Create New User” option.
- A new page will open in front of you.
- Select the User Type i.e which type of Certificate you want to apply for from the drop down menu.
- Enter User Name.
- Enter First Name.
- Enter Middle and Last name.
- Enter your valid Email Id.
- Enter your Valid Mobile Number.
- Enter the security code.
- Click on Submit button.
- You have successfully registered on E Labor Portal for Punjab E Labor Card.
- Click on the “Feedback and Grievance” link under Important Links on the homepage of the website.
